Tim Bitici Gives Dressing Tips To Men & Women

Tim Bitici has his own rules of dressing. He says that one should never over-accessorize or look like as if she is wearing a "hipster" Halloween costume. According to him, the biggest mistakes one can make when getting dressed is copying trends too literally and also not dressing for their body type. He also advises people to wear what is most comfortable to them. Comfort is not an enemy of style and anything that fits well is comfortable. He, himself, can feel comfortable in a tuxedo.

For a woman, Tim Bitici suggests she keeps accessories minimal and not over-obsess while getting dressed. She should look like as if she has the effortless ease and confidence of good taste and . . .a good hairstylist. A corporate looking suit paired with sneakers is never okay. Pay particular attention to the upper body, as this is the area people notice first. When asked what city has the most fashionable citizens, Tim feels that Paris has the best-dressed women.

There is no doubt that Tim has a great understanding of fashion. He is a style icon who dresses stylish yet comfortable. Once, when asked in an interview how he selects his clothing in the morning, he replied, “I choose my pants at night and by the time morning arrives, I've created my entire look in my sleep.” He does not like wearing square toe shoe or bellbottoms. Tim’s wardrobe treasures are his homemade Biggie Smalls tee shirt, MARGIELA tuxedo pants and Purple label Ralph Lauren cashmere black pin striped scarf.
